Whilst in London for August, by complete chance I came across Battersea Flower Station. I was on a mission to pick up a small bouquet of flowers to thank a friend for having me to stay. The girls that served me my morning coffee couldn’t recommend more highly this place, even better it was a two minute walk from where I was.
Battersea Flower Station boasts that they are probably the longest little garden centre in London. An abundance of flora and fauna encapsulates this little peaceful spot in Battersea, there was also something magical about this place (I was at the time thought it was a Secret Garden moment!!), full to the brim of exotic plants, herbs and trees plus an on-site florist who made up the most gorgeous bouquet for me, I was very tempted to take it home myself. I just had to share it with you. I didn’t have my proper camera with me, so phone photos will have to do, wish I had taken more.
If you have a free afternoon or time to kill south of the river, why don’t you take 15 minutes out of your day and explore this hidden gem. Like them on Facebook too here.
