|Looking back at Camp Cove, Watsons Bay|
I blooming love a really good weekend of exploring. There are so many places within throwing distance of our doorstep. I just had to share a couple. Mode of transport for the weekend the boyfriend’s newly acquired Triumph, nicely named “Uncle Sam”! We trundled up to Watson’s Bay in time for a pastry and coffee, a squizz at Lady Bay (haha!), a trip around the famous Hornby Lighthouse at South Head followed by a well deserved dip at Camp Cove (ALL TIME favourite Sydney Beach to swim at). These three places are definitely on my top best places to visit in Sydney, super close to the hustle and bustle of the city (you can catch a ferry to Watto from the CBD) and a little pocket of sheer elegance and beauty that surrounds this little peninsula.

|View as we popped out of The National Park, I would love to be in one of those little beach shacks for the weekend. Still trying to figure out how to get down to them…|
We followed the rugged coastline for another 20 minutes before arriving at one my favourite pubs! its called The Scarborough Hotel, they do winning Sunday lunches; fresh prawns, fillets of fish, steak all large portions with one of the most jaw-dropping beer gardens I have ever entered. Tables fill up, so book in advance.

As we rolled out of the pub and back onto Uncle Sam. It was time to find a beach to take a well deserved dip. Chugging along on towards Wollongong we came across Coledale Beach, sparsely populated and also a great camp spot!

We lulled around like beached whales for an hour or so. Crispy with salt and sun, we decided to call it a day and head home.
I highly recommend getting your exploring backpack, boots & compass and go and see what is on your doorstep! You might be surprised with what you find!
