Honey baked figs with cinnamon and a drizzling of greek yoghurt. Not only a sweet marriage of perfectly attuned flavours. A light and painless dessert which is perfect for mid-week entertaining or even for breakfast over a bowl of porridge, granola or purely by itself.
8 Figs, quartered
Mint Leaves (Optional)
1. Turn Oven to 200c. In a baking tray place quartered figs. Drizzle with small amount of honey. Say about 1/2 Tsp per fig. Dust with fine sprinkling of cinnamon.
2. Pop in oven for 7-10 minutes. Until slightly browned on the outside but honey hasn’t burnt yet.
3. Serve on plates and drizzle with greek yoghurt another dusting of cinnamon and a few mint leaves.
