Slowly the spring is rolling into summer here in the Southern Hemisphere. I love cooling drinks on hot days.
There is nothing more perfect than a iced latte made from freshly ground coffee and almond milk (you could also use coconut or soy milk). It is light, refreshing and is great afternoon pick-me-up.
Tip* add one or two shots of patron and you have yourself a winning early afternoon cocktail. Simple to make.
Perhaps try this little number on the weekend
Enough ice-cubes to 3/4 fill your jar
200ml Organic Almond/Soy/Coconut Milk
175ml of strong freshly ground coffee (I used two scoops)
Freshly grind your coffee and add to a cafetiere. Add boiling water. Let is soak in for 5-7 minutes.
Add ice cubes to jar, followed by almond milk, followed by coffee.
Mix well with spoon & slurp away0
