Hiya Folks! Recently I have been testing out different smoothie concoctions at Rosedog HQ. This one is definitely a winner. Sometimes after a morning work out, I don’t feel like eating food. So a tasty smoothie ties me over until I am more hungry. This little number is made from completely natural ingredients, its vegan friendly too.
I am a little late on the raw “Cacao” powder bandwagon, this stuff combined with everything else does complete wonders. The raw powder is made from cold-pressing un-roasted cocoa beans. To name a few benefits; Raw Cacao is a potent antioxidant, which helps protect the nervous system. It can shield nerves from damage, reduces blood pressure, boosts your mood and is rich in minerals. Whats not to love about this stuff. So here goes it… a morning smoothie to make you happy (bananas and raw cacao powder), strong (thanks to the protein from the cashew nuts and almond milk) and to also stuff you full of much needed minerals and goodies. Plus to give you that boost to conquer the day.
1 Ripe Banana
1 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Handful Cashew Nuts
400ml Almond Milk
Whack all into a jug and blend with a whizz stick. Poor into a glass and feel all those goodies do wonders.
