Topped with delicious and juicy cherries which are just coming into season here in Australia. The farmers markets and fruit and veggie stores are in abundance of them.
Perfect for kiddies sweet treats, adults’ sweet tooth and dessert for supper any night of the week.
Tip* best served chilled with any fresh fruit for toppings. Can also freeze in a tub and use as icecream.
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
2 Tsp Vanilla Essence or Paste
1 Cup Organic Almond Milk
1 Cup Pitted Dried Dates
1/2 Cup Raw Cacao (my preferred choice is from Xocolatl Brokers)
1/2 Tsp Seasalt (my preferred choice is Maldon Sea Salt)
1 Ripe Frozen Banana
1/4 Shredded Coconut
1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
1/2 Cup Cherries, de-stoned (to serve)
- In a food processor, add all ingredients above apart from the cherries. Blitz for a good minute until smooth paste.
- Serve in jars, mugs, bowls or glasses and scatter with fresh cherries on top.
