Roasted figs and goats cheese is a winning appetiser to get your dinner party guest mouth watering. It takes under a minute to prep and 15 – 20 minutes to roast in the oven. A scrumptious last minute nibble for hungry mouths.
Figs are well and truly in season, they taste their best in the Summer months. They are high in fibre thanks to the presence of pectin (a soluble fibre), which can lower the risk of heart disease, a good source of potassium which can help aid regular heart beats, manganese and also calcium.
Give these a go next time you have buddies over for supper.
