|Fremantle is a massive industrial port so there are some huuuge tankers going in and out!|
We carried on around the island and stopping at almost every cove to take a dip. Only to bump into some little Quokkas. These are my all time favourite little Aussie mammal. Slightly slow and sleepy most of the daytime. They are super friendly and love a little slice of apple on the sly!!

We sauntered back to the Rottnest Hotel. It has apparently has come on leaps and bounds. With a beautiful beer garden over looking the waters edge, live music and lots of beer. We refreshed with a large serving of fish and chips and pint.
We all had our alarms set to watch the sun go down over the sea. A rare phenomenon if you live on the East Coast. With aching limbs and loaded with few beers, we managed to peddle on back to Wadjemup Lighthouse about 4km from base. A stunning lighthouse completed in 1849 and a fabulous location to watch the sun go down with a few G&Ts to celebrate one of my best days in a long time…
Before the sun descended we managed a quick game of quidditch, Harry Potter Style…
